The Warrior Family

My friend Shona asked me to take a look at this family, and play them. I thought, might be fun. Then she tells me her young eight year old son made this family. I thought Ahhh...that is where the challenge is. Here are the young Tristan's notes about this family, verbatim:

The Warrior Family.

Frank was created in CAS and his mum wase erased after creating Frank. Sharon and Franks created dad David have Joshua-James after the 5 kids he is really just someone else. but I couldnt be bothered createng another person. and I cant do 9 sims so they have a few extra money and the fire took it away.

  • Hector the 1st kid is a quiet Plesure sim
  • Felicity the 2nd is sweet romantic sim
  • Gretta the third is a bad tempered Popilarity sim.
  • Lulu the 4th kid is a smart sim and
  • Shyann is a shy family sim.

Joshua grows up wanting to be rich like his only father figer, he is born of a bad relationship and bad mummy , she died when JJ's dad became very angry and he stab her. then he got killed by terorists.

Gretta gets very angry at everyone she tryied to run away but she is too young so instead she fights everyone, they need to clean all the rubbish and roaches, they cannot hire a gardner, a nanny or maid. They can not aford to go to univarst --- collage and no scolaship are allowed. you need to get jj to adult safely to be crown queen of sims.

they are not allowed to go to work until they adults except the smart sim, they are not allowed to fall in love or date except the romantic and family sim. They are not allowed any skill things unless they are realy the tv, radio or toys."

Well. I played this family a little differently than young Tristan's outline in the last paragraph. I did put a painting easel on the lot. I never directed a Sim to it; but it did get used. I sent Frank to work when the youngest JJ started school. Mostly because Frank needed something to do since he couldn't do anything to skill. He was bored all day when the kids were gone to school. But that is neither here nor there. I figured it was ok for Frank to work since he was a Fortune sim. It looked like Tristan had in mind that a Sim could only do things connected with their aspiration. So Frank worked, but never skilled. He lolled about on his job, and waited for the game to have pity on him and promote him without skills. at any rate, here we go. The Warrior Family.

I place the house in the neighborhood, and click on it.

The Sims 2, the Warrior Family

This family looks like okay. They looked happy.

So far they look okay.

Errr...this is what I see when I open the lot. The Warriors are standing around...looking lost....lots of bushes and weeds. The family only has about $1,000. I think of a way to get some simoleons since the dad isn't supposed to work. The house is in two peices...a suite of two bedrooms and two baths, then the kitchen is off by itself in a little room.

The Sims 2, the Warrior Family lot

I sell off all the bushes, a couple of trees, and all of the water plants. Inside the kitchen is an expensive $900 painting. It goes too. Now the Warrior family has around $4,500. That is plenty. A refrigerator and counter is purchased for the kitchen.

A comfy sofa...and a light are then added outside, and a television set is later purchased. I think it is all good now. The Warrior Family will survive. Now I think to check out the family themselves. Surely there must be something else.

Aha. Here it is. A hateful little girl named Gretta. She wanted to see her entire family dead. haha...I knew then this family would be fun and challenging.

The family goes to work cleaning up the mess around the lot. They are cute kids.

Dad too. As he puts the last of the trash in the rubbish bin, two of the kids sit down to play pat-a-cake, Felicity and Hector. The seem to get along ok.

Gretta starts it. She wanted to fight. I quickly persuaded her to do something else.

LuLu and Shyann continue with their conversation after that rude interruption from Gretta.

An impromptu hug between Hector and Felicity. Everyone seems to like each other...and poor poor Gretta is left out of everything.

The kids gather in the tiny kitchen to share a plate of sandwiches their father Frank made for them. This seems to be the only time Gretta can interact with her siblings without wanting to start a fight.

That, and when they are sleeping. Ha.

The family is a bed short, so poor Frank attempts to sleep on the sofa the first night. He quickly realizes this isn't going to work...he doesn't rest well here. After this first night, he started sleeping during the day in one of the twin beds while the kids were at school.

And this finishes the first day with the Warriors. They were alot of fun....and I had to play more.
