We have always had cats in our home. This part of our website is dedicated to our pals, our cats.
October 12, 2003 - We have a new kitten named Spunkey that I got from a lady who had him and his brother, sister, and mother in a cat carrier in the back of
her pickup giving away away all the babies. I don't have any photos yet of him, but he is a butterscotch tabby. Adorable.

This is Princess. My then 7 year old daughter and I adopted her from the Humane Society of Kanawha Co in West Virginia. We had gone to Petsmarts one day to do some shopping, and we saw this beautiful
calico sitting so prim and proper in a huge cage, with her eyes shut. In the cage with her were two siamese cats, obviously litter mates, wrapped around each other. I said to my daughter, "Why look at that beautiful
calico, sitting there just like a princess." That was all it took! The lady from the Humane Society took this Princess out of the cage for us to hold. After doing some paper work, she was on her way out the door with us.
We just couldn't leave her. That was in 2000.

This is Moe. He is the Boss Of The Cats. He was born under my then 2 year old's daughter's bed in 1995. His daddy was a wild bob cat, his momma was a pure black cat who later turned wild after she had Moe. He weighs about
20 pounds. There have been other felines that have come and gone from our home, but it is always understood between them all that Moe Is Boss. However, he is the biggest baby in the world when it comes to his humans. Moe loves to be
petted and held, and insists that one of us stick our finger in his food to stir it up before he takes a bite. LOL

Moe and Princess spend most of their time outdoors. They don't even use the litterbox, they will sit by the door when it is time to "go" and paitently wait for someone to come open it. However, Neesa is a strict housecat...cries to go outside, then gets out there and cries to come back in with in seconds. :-)
There are more pictures of Moe and Princess at my daughter's website, and don't miss the fantastic story about "Moe the Bat Catcher"!
Hey..have you ever wondered what our cats do with their litter boxes when we aren't looking????
And of course, our cats leave us lots of presents...
Will add more fun stuff about our cat family as it comes about, in the meantime, thanks for stopping by, sign our guestbook to let us know you were here!
